The Extreme strut has plenty of travel so it is advisable only to fit with a 2inch diff drop bracket.
The Vitara Extreme Strut is designed for Vitara's with 3inch lifts or bigger. The Extreme Strut has the same travel as a dobinson strut but on a 3 inch lift compared to the same travel on a 40mm lift. No other strut is as long as the extreme strut on the market. to use other brands you will need strut spacers aswell to get the same travel in a 3inch lift as the extreme.
